Site Foreman
There is an opportunity for another hi-calibre Site Foreman to join our team.
Key Responsibilities include:
-Leadership and Site Management. -Quality Assurance. -Planning. -Health & Safety. -Coordinate Council inspections. -Site administrative duties and compliance. -Effectively coordinate a team of various trades onsite to successfully deliver the job on time, within our budget and in accordance with the contract documents. -Must be a strong communicator and effectively contribute to discussion of the Project with all stakeholders including owners and designers. -Identify and resolve potential issues before they arise.
Ideally this person will:
-Have an exemplary health & safety record. -Have any or all of the following: a Site Safety Supervisor Qualification; Site Safe Passport; Workplace First Aid Certificate; Height & Harness Safety training certificates, would be an advantage. -A valid driver’s license is a must. -Have a Building Practitioners ‘Carpentry’ License (or be capable of having an application approved before the deadline). -Having a Building Practioners ‘Site’ License would be an advantage. -Be a highly skilled Trade Qualified Carpenter with a vast knowledge of the trade. -Have a good understanding of the Building Code and be able to use it to resolve queries where applicable. -Have a good understanding of subtrades & being able to effectively coordinate them. -Having a broadbase competence in alterations; interior fitout; maintenance work; and water leak detection and repair would be an advantage. -Must have a proven track record as a Site Foreman or Site Manager. -Extensive Commercial Construction experience would be an advantage.
